Vitry sur Seine, only a few kilometers from Paris, on the other side of Paris ring road “boulevard périphérique”, is a huge open-air museum for street artists of international renown.

Vitry-sur-Seine is undoubtedly one of the strongholds of urban art and has become an artistic showcase for artists from all over the world. It is even considered as one of the best cities in the world to discover street art and graffiti.

Vitry-sur-Seine is today a high street art place, due to a pioneer of the “genre”: Christian Guémy, aka C215. The artist set up his first studio in 2009 and began to punctuate the streets of his murals with stencils or freehand.

It is not the only street artist to give colors to Vitry-sur-Seine: as soon as leaving the train station, a giant work of the Italian Pixel Pancho welcomes visitors!  The young artist Avataar also put his paw on the walls of the city, while Kashink (one of the few girls in this field) proves herself as one of the best female street artists …

Several famous street art names have invested in this city: ROA, Pixel Pancho, Fin Dac, David Walker, Indigo, Liliwenn, Stew, Alice Pasquini, Sonda, SLY2, Borondo, … And many more … so open your eyes!

Approximately 500 artworks are visible all around the bends of the streets and give life to the grey city walls.
